Financing Nature and Climate Resilience
Small Island Developing States (SIDS) are on the frontline of climate change and biodiversity loss. Yet they are also custodians of globally important ecosystems, from coral reefs and mangroves to seagrass meadows and coastal habitats, that support livelihoods, food security, tourism and resilience. Mobilising investment to protect and restore these natural assets is essential for sustainable development across Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.
This page brings together key initiatives, events and knowledge products that are helping advance climate and biodiversity finance for OACPS SIDS.

Unlock Investment for Nature
Nature-based solutions are increasingly recognised as cost-effective investments that can deliver benefits for climate resilience, biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Across OACPS SIDS, innovative approaches such as blended finance, blue carbon, ecosystem insurance and biodiversity investment funds are helping unlock new sources of finance for nature and resilience.
